FAQ

FAQ about Tackers

Deep answers on install, SIM vs real trades, data storage, security, the floating bookmarklet panel on axiom.trade, and how Autopilot behaves. Start with Install or How it works.

How does Tackers work?

Tackers is a floating Autopilot panel for Solana memecoin flow. You install it as a bookmarklet (a bookmark that runs a small script), open a token page on axiom.trade, click the bookmark, then press START.

The panel shows session P&L, strategy toggles (launch sniper, wallet copy), a live event feed, open positions, and settings for size, TP/SL, and tick speed. That floating panel on axiom.trade is the only product surface — there is no on-site trading terminal.

Beta runs a functional simulation — look for the SIM badge. Fills update the dashboard as if they traded, but they are not real on-chain orders yet. When real execution ships, you will still sign with your own wallet; Tackers never holds keys.

Bookmarklet vs browser extension — which is Tackers?

Tackers ships as a bookmarklet, not a Chrome/Firefox extension store package. You drag the green install button into your bookmarks bar (see Install), then click that bookmark while you are on a supported host.

Why a bookmarklet? No store review wait, no always-on background worker, and you only inject the panel when you intentionally click the bookmark. It does not auto-run on every page you visit.

Trade-offs vs an extension: Bookmarklets are re-clicked when you want the panel; some browsers limit or warn about javascript: bookmarks; mobile bookmark UX is weaker (see mobile FAQ below). An extension can auto-inject and sync more easily, but Tackers deliberately stays drag-and-drop so setup stays one step on desktop.

If a store extension is ever offered, it will be announced on this site. Until then, the supported install path is the bookmarklet on install.html.

SIM mode vs real trades — what am I looking at?

Current beta is SIM (simulation). When Autopilot is armed, the engine generates simulated snipes, copy events, exits, and P&L so you can learn the UI, tune sizes/TP/SL, and see how strategies interact.

  • SIM fills — Not broadcast to Solana. No wallet signature, no SOL spent, no token balance change from the bot.
  • Dashboard numbers — Session P&L, win rate, equity curve, and positions reflect the sim engine only.
  • Real trades (future) — Will require your connected wallet to approve transactions. Non-custodial: you sign; Tackers does not custody funds.

Always check for the SIM badge on the floating panel. Treat every fill in beta as practice. When live routing ships, documentation will state clearly that execution is real.

Where is my data stored? (localStorage)

Settings, session stats, feed history, and UI position are stored in the browser with localStorage under a Tackers key (e.g. tackers_bot_v1) on the host where the panel runs (axiom.trade). Nothing is uploaded to a Tackers server as part of the bookmarklet flow in beta.

  • Per origin — State lives on axiom.trade after you inject the panel. Clearing site data for that origin, using private/incognito mode, or switching browsers/devices resets or isolates state.
  • Not a cloud account — There is no Tackers login that syncs settings across devices.
  • What is stored — Strategy on/off, sniper size/TP/SL, copy scale/limits, auto-exit, tick preferences, simulated session P&L, feed lines, positions, and panel layout (x/y, minimized).
  • What is not stored — Seed phrases, private keys, or wallet secrets. Those never belong in localStorage and Tackers never asks for them.

Use browser developer tools → Application → Local Storage if you want to inspect or delete the key yourself.

Does the bookmarklet only work on axiom.trade?

Yes. The bookmarklet checks that the current hostname includes axiom.trade before mounting the floating Autopilot panel. On any other site — including this marketing site — it will not open the trading UI (by design).

That host lock keeps the bot tied to the Axiom token pages it is built for and avoids running trading UI on random domains. There is no separate on-site terminal or practice console on this website.

Open a specific token page on Axiom, then click your Tackers bookmark. Step-by-step: Install (drag from Install) and How it works.

How do I get the bookmarklet and run SIM beta?

Drag the green install button from Install into your bookmarks bar (do not only click it on this site). Then:

  1. Open a token page on axiom.trade.
  2. Click the Tackers bookmark to inject the floating panel.
  3. Confirm the SIM badge, arm strategies, and press START.

Beta is a functional simulation — fills, P&L, and positions update for workflow practice and are not real on-chain trades yet. See How it works for the full walkthrough.

Security: will Tackers ever ask for my seed phrase?

Never. Tackers is non-custodial. Legitimate UI never requests seed phrases, recovery words, private keys, or “wallet backups.”

  • If anything labeled Tackers asks for a seed, treat it as a scam and leave.
  • Only approve wallet popups (e.g. Phantom / Solflare) for transactions you understand — and only when real execution is live and you intend to trade.
  • In SIM beta there is no need to sign bot fills at all; practice is local simulation.
  • Do not paste secrets into chat, Discord DMs, “support” forms, or browser prompts that look like Tackers but are not on this site or axiom.trade.

Tackers does not hold your keys or funds. You remain in control of your wallet.

Is Tackers non-custodial?

Yes. Tackers does not custody SOL or tokens and does not store private keys. When real trading is enabled, execution is intended to go through your own wallet signatures (e.g. Phantom, Solflare). Only authorize what you intend to trade, keep seed phrases offline, and never share them with anyone — including anything claiming to be Tackers support.

Mobile and tablet limits

Tackers is built primarily for desktop browsers with a visible bookmarks bar.

  • Bookmarklets on mobile — Many mobile browsers make javascript: bookmarks hard to create, drag, or run reliably. iOS Safari and Chrome Android often lack a simple “drag to bookmarks bar” flow.
  • Screen size — The floating panel assumes a wider viewport for feed + positions + controls.
  • Wallet UX — Even when SIM works on a large tablet, real signing (future) is smoother on desktop extensions or mobile wallets with deep links — not a focus of current beta docs.

Recommended path: install and run on desktop Chrome, Edge, Brave, or Firefox. You can still read docs on mobile; for Autopilot, use a laptop or PC.

How do I turn the bot on and off?

Use the floating panel after you click the bookmarklet on an axiom.trade token page.

  • START — Arms Autopilot. Strategies that are toggled on begin generating SIM activity (feed, positions, P&L).
  • STOP — Pauses Autopilot. No new sim events while stopped; existing UI state remains until you reset or change settings.

You can leave the panel open and arm/disarm anytime. Closing the tab or navigating away stops the in-page engine for that page; state may still be in localStorage on axiom.trade for the next open.

How do strategy toggles work?

Autopilot can run multiple strategy modules. In the floating panel, click each strategy row to toggle it on or off without losing its parameters.

  • Launch sniper — Simulated entries around launch-style flow; configure size (SOL), take-profit %, and stop-loss % in Settings.
  • Copy trading — Simulated follows of watched wallets; configure scale %, wallet count / caps, and max SOL per action.
  • Auto-exit — When enabled, TP/SL-style exits apply to open sim positions according to your settings.

START must be active for armed strategies to produce events. A strategy toggled off is ignored even if Autopilot is running. Settings persist in localStorage on that host until you change them or clear site data.

What does Reset session do?

Reset session clears the current run’s operational history while keeping your configuration:

  • Cleared — Session P&L, win/loss counters, live feed lines, open sim positions, and related session timers/counters.
  • Kept — Strategy on/off flags, sniper size/TP/SL, copy scale and limits, auto-exit, tick speed, and other Settings you chose.

Use reset when you want a clean SIM scoreboard without re-entering sizes and toggles. It does not uninstall the bookmarklet, does not touch your wallet, and does not wipe localStorage strategy defaults — only the active session slice the UI describes as reset.

How do I install Tackers?

Full steps live on install.html. Short version:

  1. Show the bookmarks bar (Ctrl+Shift+B on Chrome / Edge / Brave / Firefox).
  2. Drag the green Tackers button into the bar — drag, do not only click it on the marketing page.
  3. Open a token page on axiom.trade, click the bookmark, then press START.

After install, open axiom.trade and run the panel in SIM beta to learn controls without real fills. Full path: How it works.

What bots / features are included?

Product surface is aimed at Solana memecoin flow:

  • Launch sniper with size, TP, and SL controls
  • Wallet copy-trading with scale and max size
  • Auto take-profit / stop-loss style exits
  • Multi-strategy presets and per-row toggles
  • Slippage / MEV-oriented controls (as exposed in UI)
  • Live feed, positions, and session P&L dashboard

See Bots and Tools for product pages. Beta behavior for all of the above is SIM unless the UI states otherwise.

Which wallets and venues are supported?

Target stack is Solana wallets such as Phantom and Solflare. Execution design centers on the Solana stack (e.g. Jupiter-style routing, Raydium / Pump.fun-style launch venues) with the live host lock on axiom.trade for the bookmarklet panel.

SIM beta does not require a connected wallet for practice. When real fills land, only authorize what you intend to trade. Check product pages and the floating panel for the current integration list as it evolves.

Do I need programming skills?

No. Configure size, slippage-related controls, TP/SL, copy wallets/scale, and toggles from the floating panel. Presets and strategy rows let you switch risk profiles without writing code. End users only need the bookmarklet on axiom.trade.

How do I know the bot is working?

After START:

  • Status / armed indicators update on the floating panel.
  • The live feed appends snipes, copy events, and exits (SIM).
  • Positions and session P&L move as sim fills land.
  • Toggling a strategy on/off changes whether new events of that type appear.

If nothing happens, confirm you are on an axiom.trade token page, the panel injected after you clicked the bookmark, Autopilot is STARTed, at least one strategy is on, and the tab is not sleeping/throttled in the background.

Does a trading bot guarantee profits?

No. Bots automate rules and execution workflows; they do not guarantee profit or protect you from total loss. Memecoins are extremely volatile, can go to zero, and can gap through stops. Liquidity, slippage, MEV, failed transactions, and bad signals can all hurt results — in real markets even more than in SIM.

Use size you can afford to lose, test settings carefully in SIM first, and never trade money you need for living expenses.

Is this financial advice?

No. Tackers is not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Content on this site, the bookmarklet panel, and any SIM P&L are for informational and tooling purposes only. You alone decide whether to trade, what to trade, and how much risk to take.

Nothing here is a recommendation to buy or sell any token. Past or simulated performance is not indicative of future results. If you need advice, consult a qualified professional licensed in your jurisdiction. Trade at your own risk.

I still need help — where next?

Start with How it works (3 steps), then Install the bookmarklet (drag from Install). Product docs: Bots, Tools, Pricing. Live host for the floating panel: axiom.trade.

Install once.
Run Autopilot on Axiom.

Drag the bookmarklet from Install, open a token page on axiom.trade, click the bookmark, and press START. SIM beta — not live fills yet.
